Korean Skin Care Haul

It’s finally here! My Cosmetic-Love haul!

So it came in a small box just like this, I was actually a little worried since the box looked a bit flat and small but sure enough everything was in there. The box seemed to have had a safe travel but it was VERY COLD, that was my only concern being that these were skin care products. Overall, they were very well packaged and snugged with bubble wrap. So without further a dues let me show you all the things I got. I’ll go in order of how I would use the product

When I purchased the products I wasn’t really just buying random things, recently I’ve been very into korean skin care products and have done a lot of research and read a lot of reviews on products and brands. Koreans have a massive step system versus the typical standard American 3-step system, they actually have anywhere from 8 to 12 steps depending on how much you want to invest so that’s how I purchased my products. So first is this cleanser from Innisfree, a very well known brand. Like the name, it’s to deep clean unclogged pores while at the same time brightening, and evening out the skin tone.

Next is this toner by Tonymoly, I’m all about skin brightening so that was one of the selling factors and because it uses flower petals I know that it would be pretty gentle on the skin, and let me tell you, this smells so good!!

And this here is the ever so popular Time Revolution The First Essence by Missha. There are so many reviews and high ratings about this product I couldn’t pass it up. I looked at 3 different websites when I was trying to purchase my products and the other two websites were completely stocked out of this product, apparently, it’s that good!

I found great reviews about this serum so I decided to give it a try. I am in my 30’s so it’s time I start investing in anti-aging products, like, seriously invest in it πŸ™‚

To be honest, it was difficult for me to pick out an eye cream. Part of it was because there are SOOOO many different types and brands to choose from, and the other half is that there’s really not that many reviews out there. Most reviews I get from youtube are from a lot of young girls and they’re not really using eye creams yet, however I decided to go with this brand because I’ve read reviews that stated this brand along with the brand Hera is geared more towards women my age. So, we shall see! (isn’t that little spoon cute, how hygienic)

And below are a couple of masks, I actually ordered 6 but they notified me that 2 were out of stock after my package had already been shipped. They reimbursed me immediately so that was okay. I’m pretty excited to try out these masks at my next spa night! Oh and the little red tomato packets were actually free samples that came along with my purchase, they gave like 50 of those babies! They’re face masks as well to help brighten the skin and lighten acne scars.

Cosmetic-Love – This is by far one of the best websites I’ve scouted.Β I put in my order on 1/7 and it arrived on 1/18, so not even two weeks for international shipping. Whether you buy $5 or $125 standard shipping is always free. The only downfall I would say is that there is no way of tracking your package 😦 . There are many other great perks about this website, they offer a reward system so that’s definitely a budget friendly plus but what I enjoy most is the variety of products it has to offer and the navigation of the website. If you’ve looked into Korean skin care websites and e-shops before, a lot of them are pretty hard to navigate through and isn’t as user friendly. So just my 2cents. I will definitely be doing a review of all the products and an updated skin care routine. I will also be purchasing again from them soon, will be adding more serums and a moisturizer next!
